Wedding at Mount Nevis

A Wedding at Mount Nevis...so simple, yet so elegant. Just for two or for a large reunion of family and friends!

At the edge of The Mount Nevis Hotel's lawn, are the ruins of 200 year old Cottle Church. In 1824, Thomas John Cottle, a former president of Nevis and a plantation owner, completed the construction of the Cottle Church on a small portion of his estate.

This picturesque ruin is an ideal spot for a wedding. Over the years, many ceremonies have taken place on the steps of the church.

"Finding the ideal wedding venue can seem as challenging as finding the perfect mate. Oftentimes, the regard for both is that, when it's "right", you'll just know. That same, feeling was why my husband and I decided to build our weekend wedding around the historic Cottle Church and the delightful Mount Nevis Hotel". --- a quote from a bride.
